Scheduling
Pick a Time That Works for You
The scheduler below is our clinical partner's booking system. Choose a slot, enter your details, and you will get a confirmation email with your video visit link.
What happens next
What Happens After You Book
Only one of them takes any real time, and that one is set by California law rather than by us.
You book above
Choose your slot and enter your details. The first fifteen minutes are free.
You meet your clinician by video
A clinician licensed in your county talks with you properly. This appointment starts the statutory 30-day clock.
Your care relationship runs its course
You stay in contact across the thirty days. The evaluation of your need for the animal happens inside real care, not a questionnaire.
Your letter is issued
A signed PDF carrying every element §122318 requires. If your housing provider asks questions, your clinician answers them.
Before you book
Three things worth knowing.
None of them are in the small print, because they should not be.
- You must be in California during the evaluation. Section 122318(a)(2) requires the clinician to be licensed where you are located.
- Thirty days is a floor, not a target. No California service can lawfully issue an ESA letter faster, whatever their homepage says.
- Approval is never guaranteed. The clinician can conclude a letter is not clinically supported, and you are not charged for one that is not issued.
Client experiences
How the Appointment Goes
Six people on the part of this that happens over video.
The video visit was on time and lasted a proper forty minutes. It felt like a real appointment because it was one.
I did the whole thing from my kitchen table. No clinic, no parking, no waiting room full of people.
The scheduler was straightforward and I got a confirmation email immediately with a link I could actually find again.
My clinician asked about my history properly rather than reading from a script. It was the first time I'd talked about any of it.
I had to move my appointment twice because of work. Both times it took one email and no fuss.
Video quality was fine on my phone over regular data. I'd worried about that.

Our Licensed Mental Health Professionals
Every evaluation is done by a professional licensed by a California board. You get their license type and number before you pay, so you can check it yourself on the board’s public lookup.
The document
What Your PSD Letter Looks Like
Every letter carries the five elements Health & Safety Code §122318 requires, on the page where a housing provider can see them.

- License in full. Type, number, issuing jurisdiction and effective date.
- Licensed where you are. Confirmation the clinician may practice in your jurisdiction.
- Thirty-day relationship. Evidence the statutory care period was met.
- Completed clinical evaluation. An assessment of your need for the animal.
- The §365.7 notice. The disclosure California requires you to receive.
- Need without diagnosis. Your accommodation need, with your diagnosis kept private.
Sample document. Names, dates and license details are populated from your own clinician’s record.
